Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” (Matthew 19:14)

Children are important to us at Lakeside Baptist.  Currently we offer Sunday school classes for infants, 2- to 3-year olds, 4- to 5-years-olds, 6- to 8-year-olds, and 9- to 11-year-olds.

We also offer nursery care for infants up to 3-year-olds during worship.  We have many loving volunteers who teach and nurture our children. We also offer a game night once a month where youth, children, and adults can come together and enjoy a time of fellowship.

Our Day Care and church co-sponsor a Trunk or Treat every year on the Friday before Halloween. This event includes games, an Astrojump, a hayride, and, of course, trunk or treating! It is a night that is catered to children’s safety and lots of fun.
